Easy 30-day
returns.

If something isn’t right, you can return it. You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to send an unflown, unused item back to us for a refund. Faulty, damaged or incorrectly-supplied items are always put right at our cost.

Returning an unwanted item

To be accepted for a change-of-mind refund, an item must be returned within 30 days of delivery, unflown and unused, in its original packaging and complete with all included parts, accessories and paperwork. Please don’t bind, fly or fit the model — once a helicopter has been powered up or flown we can’t resell it as new, so it can’t be returned for a change-of-mind refund. This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty (see below).

How to start a return

Email hello@rc-helicopters.co.ukwith your order number and the item you’d like to return, and we’ll send you the return address and instructions. Please wait for our reply before posting anything back, so we can log your return and get it processed quickly.

Return postage

For change-of-mind returns, you cover the cost of sending the item back to us. We strongly recommend a tracked and insured service, especially on higher-value scale machines — until it reaches us the item is your responsibility. If a return arrives damaged because it wasn’t adequately packed, we may not be able to refund it in full.

If the item is faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, return postage is on us — see below.

Faulty, damaged or wrong items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or we’ve sent the wrong item, contact us at hello@rc-helicopters.co.ukas soon as you can — ideally within 48 hours for transit damage, with a photo if possible. We’ll arrange a replacement or a full refund including any postage you’ve paid, and cover the cost of the return. This is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Refunds

Once your return reaches us and we’ve checked its condition, we’ll refund the original payment method — usually within a few working days, and always within 14 days of receiving the goods back. Refunds cover the price you paid for the item; original delivery charges are refunded in full only where the item was faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

A few exclusions

For safety reasons we can’t accept returns of LiPo batteries that have been used or charged. We also can’t refund items that show signs of having been flown, fitted or modified, or that are returned incomplete. None of this limits your statutory rights if an item is genuinely faulty.

Your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations you have a minimum 14-day right to cancel most online orders — our 30-day policy extends that. Nothing on this page affects your legal rights.

Outside the UK

We’re happy to help with international returns — email us first and we’ll talk you through it. For change-of-mind returns from outside the UK, return shipping and any customs charges are the customer’s responsibility.
