The best scale RC helicopters under £1,000 (2026)

Scale RC helicopters have a reputation for being expensive, and at the top end they are — a big Roban ARF or a FLISHRC FL500 V2 runs well over £1,500. But you do not need to spend four figures to get a convincing, ready-to-fly scale machine. Under £1,000 there are two brands worth your money: Flywing at the affordable end, and Roban's smaller RTF range just below the £1,000 line.
